Finding work
Find roles directly on company career pages
Company career pages give you the employer’s own description of a position and its application process. They work especially well when you know the kind of organisation or technology that interests you. Build a manageable watchlist around your skills and review it consistently.

Construct a targeted employer list
Start with organisations whose products, clients or operations require your expertise. Include smaller suppliers and service companies alongside well-known names. Check the real Swiss work location, since a global careers site can mix many countries. Group employers by function and region so you can see where your search is concentrated and where you have alternatives.
Read beyond the vacancy title
Review tasks, reporting line, languages, workload and contract duration. A general company statement about flexible work may differ from the arrangements of a particular role. Save the job reference and relevant wording before applying because listings can change. If a portal advertisement links to a company page, compare the versions and use the employer’s current instructions.
Keep the search efficient
Set an alert where available and schedule a regular check for sites without one. Record the date checked and the status of each application. Use the designated application system and attach only the requested documents. If there is no suitable opening, look for an explicitly offered talent community or speculative-application route. A focused shortlist lets you learn the employer’s business well enough to explain your potential contribution.
